Taiyoukei Erika (太陽系エリカ Taiyoukei Erika), a free, virtual singer software (known as a voicebank). Taiyoukei (太陽系), meaning 'solar system', and Erika (エリカ), a female given name.[1]
On April 17 2023, Taiyoukei Erika was released by Applesauce666.
Development
Taiyoukei Erika was developed by Applesauce666 by recording her voice samples to be compatible for the singing voice synthesis software UTAU, allowing her to sing. During the early stages of development, Taiyoukei Erika was originally going to have a Wolf Cut (haircut) and Elf ears. However, Applesauce666 decided not to include this because it did not fit with Erika's personality.

- Past ideas that never followed up...
- Until 2021: the beginning of Applesauce666’s development and the creation of (Monya Fusaka) Taiyoukei Erika…
2023 - 2024
- May 21st 2023, Applesauce666 originally named Erika “Monya Fusaka”, but later changed it as the name didn’t feel right for her.[2] Applesauce666 were also dissatisfied with how she sounded, describing the pronunciation as often delayed or too harsh.
- January 13st 2024, Applesauce666 published Erika's VRoid model onto VRoid Hub. [3] As well, Applesauce666 designed Taiyoukei Erika in VRoid Studio.
- A couple of weeks later, Applesauce666 recorded her voice using OREMO, aiming for a softer tone and a more natural delivery. Erika’s default voicebank was then developed to include subfolders for both soft (囁エクストラ) and harsh (囁ちゃん) variations. She was the first voicebank Applesauce666 created, before she was refined into the version currently in use. In addition to this, Applesauce666 also created Soft Taiyoukei Erika to make her voice more accessible and easier to use when a gentler tone is needed.

- September 1st 2024, Applesauce666 commissioned ShiroYariss[4] a request to redraw their original artwork of Taiyoukei Erika.
2025 - 2026
- February 7th 2025, Applesauce666 then commissioned Mikazon001[5] to illustrate both Taiyoukei Erika Default and Taiyoukei Erika Soft.
- June 21st and 23rd 2025, Applesauce666 edited and finished the official website where Erika's voicebanks are available to download.[6] The website is now live on Google!
- July 10th 2025, Applesauce666 created Erika on CharacterHub!
- July 11th 2025, Applesauce666 commissions Minymoe[7] to illustrate Erika in Kei's art style.
- August 5th 2025, Applesauce666 made a VCCV English voicebank.
- January 14th 2026, Applesauce666 created a POWER voicebank.

Personality
- It’s heard that Taiyoukei Erika is originally from the Netherlands and lived in England before moving to Japan. She's well educated, having a sharp practical intelligence to solve everyday problems, and, at times, she can be impulsive. Regardless, Erika is very patient and loyal to the closest people in her life, putting them first before her own needs. As well, she is naturally optimistic, highly intellectual and adores strolling along the seashore under the starlight. However, she dislikes disputes, fights, neglect, and betrayal, which overwhelm her. Despite this, she can easily make friends due to her ability to put people at ease and her genuine kindness to make others feel valued.

- Main concept (Act 1): Shiny long silver/white twin plaits. Sleeveless black cropped top with a semicircle hole, made out of a soft fabric layer (plus ..recording layer 0.., recording layer 1…); on the back of Erika’s top is a drive motor, lens system, and tracking mechanisms. (Plus the small CD on the left, similar to Hatsune Miku’s Factory Tyrant) Around her collar is a black tie; black shorts with gold and brown around the bottom, a brown belt around the waist, black knee-high stockings, and brown thigh-high boots. She is wearing a blue/purple “cape” with a gold design hanging down from the belt. She can also be seen wearing long black baggy sleeves that reach to her fingers, and a headset, with no microphone; a round silver earpiece with a mint-coloured, blade-shaped piece rising out of it. (Originally to represent the default/rock side to Erika, while her face is represented by her softer/cuter voice.)
- 2nd concept (Act 2): Shiny long silver/white twin plaits and a ahoge strand on the top of her head. White holographic bodysuit, made out of polycarbonate substrate layer (..recording layer 0.. recording layer 1…); a semi-transparent reflective layer. Flair style bottom, tall heeled boots. Thick black straps, with blue/teal wires within, around Erika’s legs and on her collar. Her sleeves are long and baggy, but they do not cover her fingers. On top, there are teal, grey circles and teal sparkles. Erika’s face wears a blue translucent rectangle “monocle”, and Erika has two clips on the right side of her bangs. Nails are glitter teal. Originally. Applesauce666 had an idea of Erika wearing a skirt over the bodysuit.
