Tan Sri Michael Yeoh
Tan Sri Michael Yeoh is a public intellectual and social entrepreneur. He is president of the KSI Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific formerly known as Kingsley Strategic Institute for Asia Pacific a leading independent private think tank. He is also a member of the 15 member UN ESCAP.
Michael Yeoh has over 35 years of senior management , Boardroom and international experience. He sits on the Boards of several public listed companies with interest in investment, property development and food manufacturing and has been CEO of a leading private independent think tank for 25 years. He also sits on the Boards and Executive Councils Of non profit and civil society organizations and had been a Commissioner in Malaysia’s Human Rights Commission and Malaysia Competition Commission.He had served as Malaysia’s Representative with Ambassador rank on the ASEAN High Level Task Force on Connectivity. He has authored several books and have been invited to speak at numerous international conferences.
He sits on the Board of Directors Of the Malaysia China Business Council and the British Malaysia Chamber Of Commerce and is a Exco member of the Malaysia International Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (MICCI).
He is also Deputy Chairman Of the Economic Club of Kuala Lumpur and Deputy President Of PROHAM( the society for Promotion Of Human Rights).
