Tanakpur Assembly constituency

Tanakpur was one of the 430 constituencies in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh a northern state of India. Tanakpur was also a part of Nainital Lok Sabha constituency in present-day Uttarakhand state.[1] This constituency merged in 1962 to Haldwani Assembly constituency.[citation needed]
