Taraj (Persian: تاراج, meaning Plunder) is an 1985 Iranian film directed by Iraj Ghaderi, produced by Mohammad Tobekhah and writing by Saeed Motalabi based on the story of Alireza Davoudnejad. Its stars Jamshid Hashempour, Behzad Javanbakhsh and Fakhri Khorvash. The story of the film, which narrated in before the Iranian revolution, deals with addiction and drug trafficking.[1][2][3][4][5]

Zeinal Bandari is an opium dealer with a past criminal record. He is nabbed in a series of arrests on drug traffickers by Iranian DEA. He then In court is convicted of is sentenced to death, but his sentence is changed to five years in prison by paying a bribe. He is released after a year and sells drugs again until…
