Tauã Ferreira dos Santos, called Tauã , (born December 29, 1993 in Mongaguá), is a Brazilian football player.
Club career[edit]
Home country[edit]
Tauã received his football training among others at Avaí. Here he also made the leap into the professional squad in 2012. In the league operation of the Série B , he played on November 3, 2012 against the Ceará SC. In the game he was substituted on in the 66th minute. He was also used in the remaining four games of the season. The first goal as a professional player reached within the Campeonato Catarinense 2013. In the game against Criciúma SC, he came on the pitch at 64th minute on April 28 and scored at 71st minutes, to 3-2 a Final score.
At the start of the 2014 season, Tauã was initially loaned to CN Marcílio Dias, with whom he competed in the state championship in Santa Catarina. The player enters 14 games in the competition and scored four goals. He was then loaned to the Guarani de Palhoça FL. Here played in the Série D and Série B of the State Championship of Santa Catarina. In both competitions he came to 26 games and 12 goals.
Tauã started 2015 at the EC Santo André. However, he only played two games here. One in the second division of the São Paulo state championship and one in the Copa do Brasil. For league operations returned to his home club Avaí, which played in the Série A that season. In the game against Palmeiras São Paulo on July 9, 2015, Tauã made his first Série A league appearance in the 77th minute. This was followed by four more. He also sat on the reserve bench several times.
The following year Tauã ran initially for Avaí. He appeared for the club a total of 27 times in official competitions until August 2016, including two in the Primeira Liga do Brasil 2016 , 9 times in the Santa Catarina State Championship , 4 times (one goal) in the Copa do Brasil and 12 times in the Série B. In mid-August, Tauã was loaned to Tombense. The loan was limited to the end of the year. With the club he played four more games in the Série C that year. At the end of the loan, Tauã was permanently taken over by Tombense. For the games in the second division of the State Championship São Paulo 2018, the player was sent to CA Penapolense. After completing the loan, another one followed.
On 2018-2019, Tauã was loaned to Atlético Acreano and EC São Luiz for a first team appearances.
Thailand[edit]
He moved to Thailand at the beginning of 2020. Here he signed a contract with the newly promoted Nakhon Pathom United for Thai League 2. He was the runner-up top goalscorer of league with 23 goals.
After a successful season with Nakhon Pathom United in 2020–21 Thai League 2, He signed a contract with top division team, PT Prachuap,[1] for a chance of his first season on top flight league, Thai League 1
