Taylor Fay (born c. 2013–2016) is a British child actor, best known for his roles in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone (2021) and the Amazon Prime mini-series Last Light (2022). Fay's acting career began in 2021 and has since expanded with his role in the ITV series Changing Ends (2023–2024), where he portrays a younger version of comedian Alan Carr's brother. Fay is represented by LSI Talent and has gained a fan following for his performances in both drama and comedy genres.

Early Life

Taylor Fay was born in Lancashire, England, around 2013–2016.[1]

Fay was discovered by talent agent Carol Wilson after a home video of him surfaced online, which led to his representation by LSI Talent. He has four siblings.

Career

Taylor Fay began his acting career in 2021 when starred as Sam Yeats in the Amazon Prime thriller mini-series Last Light. The show, which also featured actors Matthew Fox and Joanne Froggatt, premiered in September 2022. Fay filmed for several months in Prague. [3]


In 2022 Fay appeared in the Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone (Season 2). Fay played the role of Alby Rollins, a minor but significant character in two episodes. Fay filmed this role in Budapest.

Fay's most recent project is the ITV autobiographical comedy series Changing Ends (2023–2024), where he portrays Gary Carr, the younger brother of comedian Alan Carr. Fay has appeared in both Series 1 and 2. Seasons 3 and 4 of the series are in production and Fay is set to continuing his portrayal of Gary Carr.

Taylor Fay is a student and attends primary school. Fay also plays football at a grassroots level. Taylor Fay started acting aged 8. Fay is the youngest of five siblings, he resides in Lancashire with his mother and father.

Reception

Taylor Fay has garnered positive attention for his performances in both drama and comedy roles. His portrayal of Alby Rollins in Shadow and Bone (2021)and his role as Sam Yeats in the Amazon Prime series Last Light (2022) . BuzzFeed described Fay's performance in *Last Light* as "the cutest, most charismatic child star since Jacob Tremblay,".[5]
