Technique Recordings is a British independent record label based in Midlands.[1] Primarily releasing drum and bass, the label was started in 1999 by Simon Smith and Andy Wright (known collectively as Drumsound & Bassline Smith), and has grown in recent years to become a recognisable drum and bass label within the UK. The label is home to artists such as Drumsound & Bassline Smith, Youngman MC, Crissy Criss and Tantrum Desire. They celebrated their 20th Anniversary with a 20 Years of Technique album.[2][3]
