Brandon Graham, known professionally as Teddy Grahams is a rapper, songwriter, recording artist, audio engineer, record producer, and video director . Born on February 11, 1990, he first gained public recognition in 2008 with the viral success of his YouTube release “Shorty Gotta Cake[1]", a track that helped spotlight the rising “twerking” dance phenomenon and introduced his sound to a growing online audience. He adopted the stage name “Teddy Grahams[2]” after a childhood girlfriend remarked that his chivalrous nature made him sweet, reminding her of the classic Nabisco cookies of the same name. Over the years, Teddy Grahams has continued to expand his catalog and artistic reach, releasing several singles including “Favorite[3] ”, “Down Or What[4] ” and “I Wanna See You[5] ”. His project One Thing for Sure[6] and the full-length album When Night Falls[7] further showcase his versatility and commitment to storytelling through music. Dedicated to crafting authentic, Bronx-rooted narratives, Teddy Grahams remains a multifaceted force in today’s independent music landscape. .

Career

In 2010, Teddy Grahams released his project "Cookies & Sweetness[8]", marking a new phase in his developing career. The following summer, in 2011, he secured a distribution deal with Jay Stuart Productions in partnership with Island Def Jam Records, a major milestone for the young Bronx artist. Shortly afterward, Teddy enrolled at Five Towns College, where he studied Audio, Film, and Music Business at the Performing Arts School. However, balancing academic demands with the expectations of his distribution team and personal creative freedom quickly became challenging. By 2012, the conflict between school and industry obligations reached a breaking point, and Teddy was dropped from his distribution agreement without releasing any official projects or singles[9].

In 2013, Teddy reunited with New York rapper Kony Brooks for the collaboration “What You Know About”, which appeared on Kony’s mixtape "Kony Island"[10]. Their creative chemistry continued, leading to another joint record, “Work Wit”, featured on Kony’s 2014 LP "Hieroglyphics[11]". Their partnership strengthened, and in 2015 Teddy and Kony co-founded ICMG/2DEEP, an independent company focused on pushing artistic creativity beyond traditional limits. The roster grew to include six active artists: Teddy Grahams, Kony Brooks, SwaGG, Diipps,[12], JR (Just Real), and Ray Fame. To mark the label’s launch, Teddy and Kony released their duo mixtape "The God x The King[13]".

In 2016, Teddy dropped his solo EP "One Thing For Sure [14]", showcasing his growth as both a songwriter and producer. Soon after, he joined forces with labelmates to form the collective The Thot Boys, releasing the viral records “Thot Boy[15]"” and “Wild Thots[16]”. The group—featuring Teddy Grahams, Kony Brooks[17], SwaGG, JR Just Real[18], and Ray Fame[19] —focused on creating high-energy music aimed at female audiences and went on to headline events at New York’s legendary venue SOB’s (Sounds of Brazil), a stage known for hosting artists such as J. Cole, Erykah Badu, Wale, Nas, Outkast, and more.

In 2022, Teddy Grahams released his album "When Night Falls[20]" , considered his most mature and confident project to date. The album delves into themes of intimacy, emotional vulnerability, and the ways physical relationships can mask deeper feelings. Blending sensual storytelling with honest self-reflection, the project is widely viewed as an artistic step forward, surpassing his earlier EP One Thing For Sure in production quality, writing, and emotional depth.

In 2023, Graham appeared on the Diipps single “Outside[21] ”, which also featured Saay Park. Later that year, he was featured on X-yle’s track “Up & Down[22] ” and appeared in the accompanying music video[23].

In 2025, Graham contributed to two songs—“Ready[24]” and “NA NA[25]”—on Saay Park’s album "Excuse My Lateness[26]". “NA NA” debuted at No. 180 on the iTunes R&B chart upon its release. He also appeared on Kony Brooks’s EP "Genius Level Rap, Vol. 1[27]", featured on the track “Top 5 In My City[28]”.
