Teena Singh was born on 10 April 1994 in Ludiana, Punjab, India. She is an Indian actress and model who appears in Bollywood films. She began her acting career with the Hindi film "Akira".[1][2]
Early life[edit]
Teena Singh belongs to a conservative family. She was sent to boarding school when she was just eight years old. She studied in the reputed Ambala, Shimla and Dalhousie boarding schools. After completing schooling, she moved to Delhi and worked as a PR for an event management company. During the job as PR she went to Goa. She liked Goa, left the PR job, moved to Goa and worked there as a bartender. Her sister Sneha Singh is also a model.
Career[edit]
After more than a year of living in Goa, Teena and her friends moved to Mumbai. In Mumbai she got calls for TV ads and print shoots. At first she was not interested, but she eventually accepted the offers. Initially she was rejected because of her dark skin. Her first ad was for Vaseline, which was followed by ads for Asian Paints, Lakme, Samsung, Tata Safari, Tata Docomo, Elle 18, Pepper Fry, Panasonic, Kotak Mahindra and Nescafé. Her first film was "Akira".
