Tejas Krishna Prasad is an Indian Born Shooter who competes in the AR60 event and has won the gold at the 60TH NATIONAL SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS RIFLE 2016. He is supported by the GoSports Foundation through the Abhinav Bindra Targeting Performance Programme.[3]
Early life and background[edit]
Born on 22/01/1998, His father owns a small-scale business and his mother is a state government employee. He was induced to the sport by his mother in 2012[4]. He is a currently in his First year of Under graduation.
Career[edit]
Tejas is currently training at the SAI, Bangalore under the guidance of Rakesh Manpat who himself was ranked third behind Gagan Narang and Abhinav Bindra at the Common Wealth Games Trials in 2010. In 2016, Tejas won his first shooting medal, Gold at the National Shooting Championship and finished 15th at the Asian Air Gun Shooting Championship in Tehran[4]
