Temple of Perdition is an International extreme metal band formed in 2017. They are noted for being a the founders of a new black metal genre called Blackened Gothic Metal.
Line-up[edit]
The permanent line-up consists of Yaakov Nahash (Background vocals, guitars, FX and composition) Benaja (Main Vocals). Joonas Heikkinen (drums) who also plays for The Slave Eye, Angel of Sodom, and [[Renascent (band)]. In the summer of 2018 they added Corey Sorrenti from Las Vegas to their lineup as permanent bassist.
Sakis Tolisof Rotting Christ did the spoken introduction to the track "The last temptation" on the Temple of Perdition demo EP Tetragrammaton and also for the bands debut album of the same name in 2018.[1]
Biography[edit]
Yaakov being the founder of the band created the music in a rough demo which he developed into the sound today. Over the course of three years he was influenced by bands like,Rotting Christ,Behemoth (band),Belphegor (band) and Dark Funeral. He would take these sounds and merge them into the created genre of Blackened Gothic Metal.
Benaja joined the project as main vocals to further the development of the bands sound. With him came Joonas Heikkinen and together they released a 3 track demo on the Vision of God Records label.
In fall of 2018, their debut-album Tetragrammaton was release through Vision of God Records worldwide.
