Teslaquila
Teslaquilla is a reference to a fictional Tesla branded tequila that was used by Elon Musk in an April Fools' Day posting to the social media network Twitter on April 1, 2018.[1][2][3]
The subject of the joke was a response to the then recent stock price drop of the Tesla Inc. stock. He announced that the company had gone "bankwupt" and that:
"Elon was found passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by "Teslaquilla" bottles, the tracks of dried tears still visible on his cheeks."[4]
Teslaquilla quickly became the subject of internet memes that referenced "Teslaquilla" as a celebratory drink to poke fun at Tesla critics which then turned into a suggestion from Elon Musk that he may actually create a Tesla branded Tequila.[5][6]
