TestingBot is a Belgian cloud-based web and mobile application testing platform. It provides access to browsers, operating systems and real mobile devices for manual and automated testing of websites and apps.[1] The company is headquartered in Moerbeke-Waas, Belgium and was founded in 2011.[2][3]
History
TestingBot launched in 2011 as a cloud-based Selenium grid.[4] Over subsequent years the service expanded with:
- TestingBot Tunnel for testing private/staging sites (2015)
- Public access to a real device farm for iOS and Android (2016)
- Live App Testing on physical devices (2019)
- Added support for Puppeteer and Playwright (2021)[5]
- Visual Regression Testing (2024).[6]
Products
TestingBot’s offering includes:
- Live Testing – interactive, manual cross-browser testing from a web interface
- Automated Web Testing – a hosted grid for Selenium, Playwright and Puppeteer tests
- Automated App Testing – manual and automated testing on physical iOS and Android devices (Appium, XCUITest, Espresso)
- Visual Testing – automated and scheduled pixel-comparison checks for UI regressions
Integrations
TestingBot supports major test frameworks including Selenium, Appium, Playwright and Puppeteer and offers:
- Integration with Selenium IDE to run recorded .side tests on its grid.
- An adapter for Tricentis Tosca to execute tests on remote browsers and devices.[7]
- Integration with Zebrunner for test reporting and artifacts, also documented by Zebrunner.[8][9]
