Textile Duct
The textile duct (commonly known as bag duct, sock duct) is an aesthetic alternative to the traditional spiral-wound plate duct, with its numerous advantages, replacing the use of a ventilation grille and vapour barrier insulation. The textile air duct material is industrial textile with PE, PU or PVC inner coating, with a weight ranging from 150 to 500 g/m². The design of the textile duct is done with software developed for this purpose. This software is used to determine its diameter (which can be over 1 metre), length (which can be tens of metres), installation height, perforation size (which can vary from 0.1 mm to a few centimetres) and orientation.
Versions
Basically, two types of textile ducts are distinguished: 1. surface with breathable material 2. surface is not breathable (recommended for industrial environments) It comes in several forms: • circle • semicircle • quarter-round (with or without bracing) With several types of suspension (depending on diameter and installation environment): • single rails • double rails • single stranded • double stranded In countless colours from white to blue and red. Available in several material types: • Standard • CLASS1 s1,d0 • CLASS0 s1,d1 - fibreglass Advantages over a traditional spiral duct: • An order of magnitude easier • Simpler suspension • Minimum regulation • Fewer batteries • Unnecessary insulation • Washable, more hygienic • More even air distribution • Faster installation time • Unnecessary injection grid • Seamless • Easier transport • More cost-effective • More aesthetic (myriad colours and shapes) • Better noise attenuation
Areas of use
Industrial • Official spaces • Plants • Sori or "zone cooling" of production lines • Warehouse • Food plant Residential use • Shopping centre • Swimming pool • Showroom • Restaurant • Car show • Shops • Assembly hall
