Thanes Wongyannava (born June 22, 1957) is a Thai academic who is a professor of political science at the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University with specialty and interests in political philosophy, sociology, history of ideas, and postmodernism.
Career
He is also an editor of Ratthasatsarn, or the Political Science Magazine of the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, and writes a column on music and film in Siamrath Weekly Review under the pen name "Thana Wongyannavet", which is a pun on his first and last names. Thanes also has a YouTube channel called 'Satta' on YouTube, he also co-hosts a program called 'In Relationships' with Kunchorn Na Ayutthaya on The Cloud channel, which invites people to talk about a variety of topics.
