Production[edit]
The film marked the debut of actress Anusha in Tamil cinema.[2] Following the release of the film, director K. Alexander did not get film offers and subsequently went on to work on Tamil television. He made a comeback to Tamil films 28 years later through Kutti Devathai (2020).[3][4]
