Production[edit]
Development[edit]
In October 2019, while Disney took over 20th Century Animation, Locksmith Animation formed a multi-year production deal with Warner Bros. Pictures, which will distribute Locksmith's films under the Warner Animation Group label after the release of Ron's Gone Wrong, which was the only Locksmith Animation film to be distributed by 20th Century Studios.[3] In November 2019, it was announced that Locksmith Animation is developing The Empty Stocking, an animated feature based on a series of Richard Curtis-penned children’s books.[4]
Animation[edit]
Like Ron's Gone Wrong, animation for the film will be provided by DNEG after their deal with their partnership.[5]
