That Shelf, previously known as Dork Shelf, is a Canadian English-language website featuring news and reviews of film, television, and video games.[1] The website was founded in 2009 in Toronto by Will Perkins, Lucas Rizoli, and Jeff Brown. In addition to day to day entertainment coverage, the website covers various international film festivals, including the Toronto International Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival. That Shelf is a Tomatometer-approved publication on Rotten Tomatoes[2] and a Letterboxd HQ tier member.[3]

That Shelf has a large body of writers and critics who reside in a number of major film markets around the world, including the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Jamaica, and Russia.[4] Notable contributors include Bruce Kirkland, Sam Maggs,[5] Colin Geddes, Robert Daniels, and Navid Khavari.

The publication also encompasses a podcast network with 12 podcasts,[6] including Black Hole Films hosted by Canadian filmmaker Jeremy LaLonde.[7]

In 2019, That Shelf formed a partnership with Canadian video game news publication Console Creatures[8] to cross-promote content.
