The Appalachian Trail: A Biography by Philip D'Anieri is a non-fiction book written by Philip D'Anieri..[1][2][3]Contrary to other non-fiction books on the trail, Philip has written this book about the trail as biography and not as a guidebook or a history book.[1] In the biography, Philip D' Anieri, who is a lecturer at University of Michigan[4] has mentioned multiple personalities that have a substantial significance in the trail's history.[2] In the book, the author has also discovered the stories of the Appalachian Trail founders and their motivation.[4]
