Marguerite Welter was the first woman to become a lawyer in Luxembourg in 1923. She became the first woman admitted to the Luxembourg Bar. She pursued law studies, even if women still weren't allowed to become lawyers.
She was born in 1899, her mother was a teacher and her father was a German and history professor. She married Félix Welter after becoming a lawyer. Unfortunately, pleaded only one time. She stopped working after marrying her husband.
