The Avenue Creative is a Nigerian design and technology company established in 2011 that offers nationwide innovative technology solutions to various industries in the emerging economy, it came to public discourse for its platform agnostic solutions, receiving coverage from outlets such as the daily newspaper BusinessDay.[1][2]
History[edit]
Following years of agency consulting in web design and quality assurance, in June 2011, Olufeko, a seasoned Information Technologist, founded the company in Lagos, Nigeria.[3] Initial service operations were postponed due to accepting a 3-month contract offer with PayPal's Billmelater outside Baltimore. The Avenue Creative started with media design services for noteworthy people and organizations in the Nigerian film and music industry, offering premium web hosting services. In 2016, The company resurfaced with a product joint venture, providing the real estate market solutions to ease discrepancies between diesel and electricity fraud in the rental property market.[4]
Public reception[edit]
In 2019, The company's managing director in part of Corporate social responsibility received an award of special recognition serving a judge for the Prof. Ayodele Awojobi design and engineering competition. (PAADC 3.0) from the University of Lagos[5] That same year the company became a member of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.[1]
