The Black Swan Man is a fictional, serial superhero comic featuring financial and epistemological themes, mostly from the writings of author Nassim Nicholas Taleb and hedge fund manager Mark Spitznagel. It is a loose parody of Batman. The Black Swan Man is described as
The Silent protector, the mysterious guardian angel, the fearless feathered hero defending against the evil and destructive forces of risk.[1][2]
The Black Swan Man is a depiction of Taleb, and his secret identity (“Bruce Wayne”-alter-ego) is a depiction of Spitznagel.
On Halloween, 2018, Taleb appeared in a Bloomberg TV interview wearing the Black Swan Man mask.[2]
