The Boss Baby 2 is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated comedy film loosely based on the 2010 picture book of the same name by Marla Frazee and produced by DreamWorks Animation. Serving as a sequel to the 2017 film, the film will be directed by Tom McGrath and star the voice of Alec Baldwin as the title character.

The film will be released on March 26, 2021 in the United States.

Development[edit]

On May 25, 2017, Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation announced that a sequel is set to be released on March 26, 2021, with Alec Baldwin reprising his role.[1][2][3] On May 17, 2019, it was announced that Tom McGrath will return as director and Jeff Hermann, who produces Bilby and Bird Karma, as well as the upcoming short Marooned, will produce the sequel.[4]
