The Centre for Public Policies of the Cracow University of Economics (CPP UEK) is an academic research centre addressing the key problems of public administration, public economy and public governance.

CPP UEK started operations in 2020 and operates within The Małopolska School of Public Administration of the University of Economics in Krakow (MSAP UEK). The Centre cooperates with dozens of experts/researchers from leading national and international research centres.[who?] The work of CPP UEK is led by the Director of the Małopolska School of Public Administration.

Currently, there are 5 expert teams within the Centre for Public Policies of the Cracow University of Economics:

  1. Team for categorization of municipalities with a view to optimizing public policies,
  2. Team for Global Economic Relations of Poland,
  3. Team for regional adaptation networks,
  4. Team for Covid-19 impact,
  5. Team for Public Policy Change

Teams within CPP UEK are working on R&D projects in several areas, e.g. economy and finance, science and education, local government, environment, public services, public governance. The work of these teams results in expert analyses and reports, which are presented by the Centre in various forms.
