The Chapel is a large non-denominational church in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Chapel began in September of 1994 holding services at Canterbury High School. Beginning in August of 1995 services were moved to the larger auditorium at Homestead High School. The Chapel purchased approximately 25 acres on the corner of Covington and West Hamilton Roads in 1996. During August of 1998 The Chapel completed its first building (40,000 square feet) – a multi-purpose worship center, gym and fellowship hall along with office and class rooms. Also in 2000 The Chapel added a 10,000 square foot educational addition to the building. In October of 2002 the worship center was opened for its first services. The Worship Center contains a 1200 seat auditorium, nurseries, toddlers, adult classrooms and a music rehearsal room. The Chapel Preschool opened in September 2010. As of September 2010, about 2,300 people gather to worship each weekend at four services; Saturday at 6:00 pm, Sunday at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00 am.

Senior Pastor Rick Hawks often says, "The measure of a church is not how many people it brings within its walls, rather, how many people it sends out to change the world."
