The Chelsea Pig is a public house and restaurant in Chelsea, London, England. It is located on Old Church Street, at its junction with Paulton Street, about 0.11 miles (0.18 km) from the northern banks of the River Thames. It is the oldest pub in Chelsea, and there has been a pub at the location since the 17th century. The current structure was erected around 1892.[1] [2]
The building is owned by former professional footballer Frank Lampard, who grew up in Chelsea.[3][2][4]
Lampard and his father, Frank Sr., sold the pub in 2018, shortly after which it received its current name.[5]
Its interior has been furnished by Timothy Oulton.
