The school educates 61 male and female students between the ages of 3 and 16.[2] Annual school fees are between £5,700 and £6,120.[3] The school is split into a primary school for students aged 3 to 11 and a secondary school for students aged between 11 and 16.[3]

History[edit]

In 2018, the school was threatened with closure when the landlords of the school's building announced their intention to sell it.[1][4] A JustGiving page was set up in an attempt to raise £700 000 in order to buy the school building, however by December 2020 the page had raised just £12 339.[1][4][5] Despite this, the school remained at its previous site on Sidmouth Street.[6]

Curriculum[edit]

At the primary level, pupils follow a Montessori curriculum.[3][7] The school follows the guidance of Association Montessori Internationale.[3] In addition to typical Montessori subjects, students also study Arabic and Islamic studies.[7] The sports curriculum consists of subjects such as archery and kung-fu.[7]

At the secondary level, pupils follow a Liberal Arts curriculum.[3]
