The Earliest English Kings is a 2000 book written by David Peter Kirby overviewing Anglo-Saxon kings from the 6th century to the 8th century. The book contains information about the seven Anglo-Saxon petty kingdoms, (better known as the Heptarchy), and also includes lines of descent and maps.[1]
