"The Fuss" is the thirteenth episode in the fifth season of The Amazing World of Gumball, and the 169th episode overall. It originally aired on Cartoon Network in the United States, on February 8, 2017. In this episode, Nicole becomes disappointed in Richard, when he seems to have forgotten her special day.
Plot[edit]
While watching TV, the Watterson's notice Nicole staring at them angrily. They ask her what's wrong, and Nicole tells them that someone in the family forgot her special day. Worried about what they forgot, the rest of the family decide to make a party, unknowing whether the party should be happy or sad. They prepare the party as bland as they can, and Nicole reveals that it's Richard who forgot her special day. While talking with Anais, Nicole tells her that Richard forgot their wedding anniversary, which is on November 1st. Anais notices the family calendar is upside-down and tells Nicole that it's actually October 11th.
Meanwhile, Richard decides to get a butt tattoo of the date, October 11th, to always remember Nicole's special day. Nicole tries to stop him but arrives too late. After being told the truth, Richard tells the tattoo artist to change the "10/11" tattoo into the word "LOVE."
