The Great Pasha Citadel
The Great Pasha Fortress is located on the main road between Soran and Rawandiz, It was built with stones and qsl(mud with bushes) over a natural hill It has four circular towers. Nothing remains of it except its foundations and one wall. Its construction was made during the reign of Muhammad Pasha of Rawanduz , Prince of Soran (1813-1837 AD), also known as the Great Pasha.[1]
