The Haunting is the story about a girl, Moushmi Mohanty played by Erica Fernandes, who is trying to persuade the police and a psychiatrist that her sister and best friend were killed by a demon.[6] She asserts that the demon has been haunting her since the death of her sister and that supernatural events occur wherever she goes. The police officer and a psychiatrist must determine if she is genuinely possessed by a demon or if she is the demon herself, Gul Panag plays a psychoanalyst on a mission in The Haunting.[7]
