Presenter
Fender Jackson is a Northern Irish-born composer and musician. In the early 1990s, he spent five formative years in Belfast, where he lived and worked as a musician, notably volunteering in local prisons and performing as bassist with the spirited band The Good Things. He later studied Theatre (Design & Technology) in University of Leeds, funding his education as a stilt walker, before relocating to London to work as a Knowledge Manager at PwC. Jackson went on to spend eight years in China as both a musician and a performing arts teacher, writing, designing, and directing large-scale productions involving over 400 performers. He returned to Galway in 2022, where he currently resides and produces The Ireland Podcast.[1]
