The Maxx (1995 Mini-Series)

Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck".

An animated adaptation of Sam Keith's The Maxx comic book series into a 13-episode animated mini-series. It was broadcast on MTV in 1995, as part of MTV's Oddities program.[1]

It covered the stories of Darker Image #1, The Maxx #1/2, and issues #1-11 of the regular series. The television version made use of scanned artwork and CGI, with the animation flip-flops between styles, detailed in one scene but simplified and cartoonish in the next. The adaption was very faithful to the comic in which it was inspired, although a few story lines from the original comic were expanded.
