The Mostar Diving Club
The Mostar Diving Club is a "project" led by composer and lead singer Damian Katkhuda, formerly of Obi. Other contributors have included Vicky Osterberg, Will Worsley, and Michael G. Moore.[1][2] The name comes from the traditional activity of young men in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina: jumping from the Stari Most bridge into the Neretva river twenty meters below; Katkhuda's father's family comes from Mostar.[3]
The Mostar Diving Club was formed in 2008, and has released three albums: Don Your Suit of Lights (2008), Triumph of Hope (2013), Horizontal Hotel (2015), and Here Comes Joy (2018).[4][5][6][7]
Its music has been featured in commercials for Visa and Honda, and featured among the top 20 most-played songs in UK advertisements in 2013.[8][4][9][10][11] It has also appeared on an episode of the television series Grey's Anatomy, and the soundtrack to the film Waiting for Forever.[12][13]
