The Music Industry Society is a company based in Chicago, Illinois. Founded in 1997. The Music Industry Society is a platform which allows celebrities to magnify their involvement in the community and for aspiring artists to broaden their fan base. The worldwide organization connects celebrities and new artists with charities to create entertaining events for fundraising.[1]
On July 5, 2015, the Music Industry Society held its first installment of the annual music event entitled "The Evolution of Music" at the Harold Washington Cultural Center in Chicago.[2]
The Music Industry Society's purpose is to provide celebrities, singers, musicians and everyday people with exposure and opportunities to be recognized for changing the world through music. The company also implemented a virtual internship program in the spring of 2015, allowing college students across the United States to gain real-world experience.
