The Next Star currently known as Sing and Win Contest[2] and Naija Star Search[3] is a music award collective competition in Nigeria and South Africa established for emerging singers and music performers.[4][5]
History[edit]
Since 2022, the Contest was made for online competitions and auditions[6][7] performed by emerging musicians through a platform accessible to anyone for voting for his/her favourite contestant.[8][9] The music award also has a subsidiary for emerging child singers and music performers known as The Next Child Star.[10] It was established alongside its parent company The Next Star.[11][12]
