The People's News Ltd is a left-wing new media outlet, based in the United Kingdom. Their editor-in-chief Iwan Doherty founded the site in order to bring "the unviolated truth and in depth analysis to the electorate.[2] While it focuses on British domestic political affairs, it also has a "world" section, and covers a wide range of topic, including culture, and international affairs.
History[edit]
The site was founded in April 2017. It originally had three founding members, with a view to bring "the unviolated truth and in depth analysis to the electorate". The website is funded by advertising revenue, and from benefactors[who?].
The site has since recruited over 50 part-time writers[citation needed], and has interviewed the individuals including Richard Corbett, the UK Labour Party leader in the European Parliament.[citation needed] It has recruited writers from sites such as Evolve Politics, Huffington Post, and The London Economic.[citation needed]
