The Promise You Left Behind is a studio EP by Canadian-American metalcore project CasioRobinson. The EP was released July 5, 2022 through Asscrack Records, and was produced by Casio Robinson and Jonas Maloy. The title track, "The Promise You Left Behind", was the most commercially successful song ever by the project at that point. It is the first EP the band released on this label. It is also the last album to feature Jonas Maloy as a main vocalist, though he still did backing vocals, keyboards, and synth overlay on subsequent releases until his final departure from the band on January 11, 2023.

At AlbumOfTheYear, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the EP has an average score of 83 out of 100 based on 7 reviews, indicating "generally favourable reviews". Violet Sage of MusicForNormies praised the band's "drive to keep exploring out of their stylistic box".
