The Runaways is the second studio EP from the American rock band Deal Casino.
Content[edit]
The four-track EP was self-released in 2013.[1] It was produced by Jon Leidersdorff, and recorded at the Lakehouse Recording Studios in Asbury Park, New Jersey.[2] The Runaways is classified as Americana, and alternative pop rock, and it draws to comparison to the music of Coldplay, and the Kings of Leon.[3][2]
Reception[edit]
The Aquarian Weekly calls the EP "really good and extremely well written."[4] Speak Into My Good Eye notes all of the songs on The Runaways are characterized by "anthemic [and] subdued, mellow and loud" qualities. They describe the song "Hurricane" as beginning with "almost spoken word, [...] and alternat[ing] between quieter and more raucous sections before finishing its final crescendo."[3]
