The Search (band)

The Search is a pop / rock band from Uppsala, Sweden that was formed in 1999 under the name The Silverslut by Razmig Tekeyan, Johan Zeitler, Tomas Svahn, Joakim Jacobsson and Tina Bergström. The band took the name The Search 2004 at the same time as the first full-length album was recorded with the same title.

The band have released ten albums as of 2020. The Search has over the years been categorized as a variety of musical styles, such as pop, rock, indie, postpunk, goth, synth and shoegaze.
