Biographies[edit]
Hampden-White, Nicklin and Smith are wine and spirits journalists for both consumers and trade. Smith is the wine columnist for The Independent[2] and Oracle Time[3]. Nicklin is the author of Winebird’s Vinalogy: Wine Basics with a Twist![4], columnist for Savile Row Style magazine[5] and Luxurious Magazine[6]; and Hampden-White writes for Club Oenologique[7] and has provided photography for a number of books including The Greenwich Market Cookbook[8].
The Show[edit]
The Three Drinkers is an international broadcast travel show specialising in drinks. The initial series The Three Drinkers do Scotch Whisky was filmed in Scotland across 2018 and 2019 and is available in over 160 countries on both OTT and linear broadcasters with the lead distributor being Amazon Prime[9].
The Three Drinkers are currently in pre-production for additional series in 2020 and 2021.
Awards[edit]
Hampden-White, Nicklin and Smith won The Drinks Business Awards Special Commendation for Best Contribution to Wine and Spirits Tourism in 2019[10] and were nominated for the IWSC Spirits Communicator of the Year awards in the same year[11].
Whisky[edit]
In November 2019, Hampden-white, Nicklin and Smith launched their own whisky, The Three Drinkers Cask Selection Number One[12].
Other Activities[edit]
Hampden-White, Nicklin and Smith took part in the 2019 Napa Valley Film Festival where they held master classes related to whisky and wine[13] and where the global premiere of Part 2 of The Three Drinkers do Scotch Whisky took place[14].
