Corporate structure
The Vibhandik Group is a privately held industrial group in Canada. It is headquartered in 800 Burrard Street. The company consists of several affiliated businesses that specialize in offshore, infrastructure, textile, and asset management businesses. The company was formed in 1977 under the merger of Vibhandik Engineering works, the modified vehicles manufacturer. It controls respective subsidiary companies that each manage a small number of prestigious companies. The subsidiaries are often managed independently. The oldest of the Vibhandik brands is an automobile manufacturer, which dates its origins back to 1962, starting with oil engines manufacturing, moving to steel materials; metal cutting, machinery designing, and textiles.
The luxury brands owned by the group include Bon Vivant, Valeraine, Couer de Vibhandik, AVA, akamev, Jijivisha, Vavacious Valor. Couer de Vibhandik is the main holding company of VIBHANDIK, owning 40.9% of its shares, and 59.01% of its voting rights.
Through its various subsidiaries, Couer de produces and sells raw jewelry, watches, leather goods, personalized items, clothing and accessories. In the past, Couer de was publicly traded as CDV on the SIX Canadian Exchange and the Montreal Securities Exchange. The company already operates a range of cafés in several countries, in addition to a bar and nightclub.
The Winnipeg Free Press reports that the group will gain ownership of Couer de haute couture, both men's and women's ready-to-wear, and custom-made lines. Notable subsidiaries include Vibhandik Engineering’s. It offers sourcing of physical commodities like coal, petroleum products, sulphur, iron & steel, fertilizer, agro products and chemicals.
Group has also acquired the Marketing & communication technology Vmedia in 2012. The Company entered into a license agreement with affiliated luxury brands of their dealing and other Canadian & Swiss origins brands in 1997, and another with held viscose filament yarn businesses and spinning mills. TVG supports the Stop Online Piracy Act, a bill introduced to expand the ability of U.S. law enforcement to combat copyright infringement and counterfeit goods trafficking, in late 2009. In February, the group created a startup accelerator focused on artificial intelligence.[citation needed]
The Company launched a collection by Peter Neygard and Maria Brownsting, in November 2006, by avant-garde Dutch designers. In addition to the brand, the company consists of five individual brands with separate concepts. According to Le Devoir, Calgary Harald, VIBHANDIK’s has a policy of zero advertising; the company preferred to invest a percentage of revenues in opening new stores instead, also avoids magazine advertising, with print campaigns only occurring on billboards in certain regions. And a strict no-marketing principle.
