Biography
Temperley was born in Manchester. He learned electronic production whilst studying music production at Leeds College of Music. His first release as The Velvet Shadow was self-released in 2019 by Dysconnected Records. He has since released his albums and EPs via Bleak records.
The Velvet Shadow's style is a combination of ambient, minimal techno and house. Often created with analogue & modular synths and FX.
Temperley is also part of the Manchester Electronic Collective. They run BLEEP, an electronic music open mic night in Manchester.[1]
