The Village Of Horror (Film)
The Village Of Horror is a film made by Eleftheria Karadimou based on its book counterpart.
Plot[edit]
In 1989 A kid named Ethan tells his 48 years old neighbor named Nick to go and kidnap his second-cousin named George so he won't be marked with an RFID chip in a possible future. Nick goes to Ethan's parents and tells them the plan but they get mad however Ethan and Nick decide to eventually kidnap George.
The next night they get in Nick's van and go to George's house and kidnap him. The men take George to a team that wanted George so they could make him a punisher of sinners. A few years later Ethan became the co-leader of the team and was named the "Antynudity" and from no on wears an armored clown suit, a leader of the team is a man named Tergo.
In 2028 Tergo tells to Ethan that he needs to kidnap the son of one of George's brothers named Bergy, a few days later Ethan sees the son of Bergy, who is named Timmy, and tries to kidnap and a chase occurs between the two but eventually Timmy makes it back to his house and tells Bergy and his mom along with Bergy's brother named Ethaner about Ethan chasing him and the 4 people decide to get in their pickup truck and go to Africa so they can escape but Ethan, his wife, daughter, George and some members of his team get in their truck and start to chase the pickup truck.
Some masons and Satanists try to stop the truck but fail, a sports activity crossover driven by a satanist drives on the ramp of a car carrier truck and collides with the roof of the truck Ethan drives and almost its whole roof is cut off.
Bergy, Ethaner, Timmy, and Bergy's wife hide from Ethan in an old warehouse and Bergy calls 2 of his friends to tell them that they need to steal a truck and kill Ethan, to which they agree, a bruck stops outside of the warehouse and the 4 people decide to get in to escape, Ethan and his team see what is happening and start chasing the bruck, the 2 friends of Bergy have stolen a police van and try to cut off Ethan's truck by the other side of the road and eventually they succeed as they eventually collide with the truck and both vehicles crash into a ravine.
Tergo and his team stop the bruck from the other side of the road and try to kill the 4 people but Ethan who is still alive kills Tergo and the team members he has with him as Tergo revealed that he is in fact evil. The film ends with the 4 people escaping in a village while Ethan walks away.
Differences From The Book[edit]
In the book, the truck is described to be an AK Series truck but as the movie was filmed in Greece and the filmmakers likely couldn't get a hold of an AK Series COE truck/van, the truck in the film is a GAZ-MM, the truck was mildly destroyed in the ending scene and was likely kept by the crew.
Controversy[edit]
Eleftheria never told the actors that the film will be released on Youtube so the film was deleted some months later. [1][2]
