The WOW Awards Limited,[1] trading as The WOW! Awards, is a British organisation which recognises outstanding customer service based purely on customer nominations.

Founded in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales on 10 October 1997[2] by Derek Williams, the WOW! Awards are used by a wide variety of organisations in both the public and private sectors.[citation needed] Recipients include utilities, local government, police forces, NHS hospitals,[3] contact centres, financial services, housing associations, retail, manufacturing, and financial services.[citation needed]

WOW! Awards has its headquarters in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England.[1]

The scheme is open to all customers and runs throughout the year for all companies. The WOW! Awards are licensed by various organisations for an annual fee, but unique nominations for any company can be made through The WOW! Awards official site. Nominations are judged and certificates presented for deserving nominations every month.[citation needed] It also holds an annual ceremony to recognise the “best of the best” organisations and employees.[4]

The WOW! Awards is working with organisations in Australia, and is trademarked in many territories worldwide.[citation needed]
