The Werewolf Game: Inferno (Japanese: 人狼ゲーム インフェルノ, Hepburn: Jinro Gemu Inferuno) is a 2018 Japanese survival film directed by Shinya Ayabe. The film was released on April 7, 2018.

The film focuses on students trapped in an unknown facility in which they are forced to play a game called "Werewolf Game".

Plot

Hiromi and her classmates wake up in an unknown prefecture with a collar that is placed on their necks that strangles them if they attack their fellow player. A monitor turns on stating that the students will play a game called "Werewolf Game", a game where players will kill each other in order to win. The monitor also states that they must pick a card on the table below. Each player will get a role to which they will play. The villagers are the ones that will be killed by the werewolves. They stay in their rooms until 6 am. The two werewolves kill all the players at night. Every night, the prophet can choose a player to see whether they are werewolves or not. The medium can see who was the person who was executed every night. The bodyguard can protect someone from the werewolf's attack; however, he/she cannot protect himself/herself. The madman can be counted as a villager but he/she works with the villagers, so if the werewolves win, he/she also wins. If the werewolves' number is the same as the villagers', the werewolves win. Within 3 seconds, the players must vote someone out every meeting if they're the werewolves. Hiromi and Arisa get the role as the werewolves. Will they manage to kill everyone and win victoriously? Or will the other players vote them out?
