The World of Powers
The World of Powers(Japanese: 権力の世界 Hepburn: Kenryoku no sekai) is a superhero Anime created by Joshua Pate. It will first be aired on Funimation and Youtube on March 28, 2018.[1] The show is in English, Japanese, and Korean. Joshua Pate and Nik Foster have written a journal about the character, Riku Suzuko, called Riku Suzuko's Journal. The show is based on the idea that certain people have powers.[2]
Plot
The show is about Riku Suzuko, who is a character with no power. He then tries to save a child who is about to be killed by a villain, but his favorite hero saves her. He then meets the hero and gets a power. Later he becomes friends with three new characters. The four then go on to fighting villains across Japan.[2]
Affiliation With My Hero Academia
The World of Powers is not associated with My Hero Academia, despite the very similar plot. Though the creators of The World of Powers hope to create a crossover episode with My Hero Academia during Season 2.
