Theo Carroll (born 21 June 2007) is an English professional footballer who plays for the EFL Championship club Preston North End as a Midfielder.

Club Career

Carroll joined Preston as a youth aged 8. During his very successful youth career, which includes winning Scholar of the Year at Preston in 2025,[2] the EFL Youth Alliance Cup in 2024, The Central League in 2022, along with an amazing run to the FA Youth Cup Quarter finals in 2023.
In 2025, Theo Carroll was named on the bench for his first ever professional game, at home against Swansea,[3] although he didn't come-on during that game. He ended up on the bench for games against Sheffield United, Sunderland, Derby County and even in the FA Cup against Local Rivals Burnley where they won 3-0 to make the quarterfinals.
He made his professional debut for Preston, in the quarterfinals against Aston Villa as he came on in the 85th minute.[4] His moment of the game was when he had a shot against 2022 World Cup winner Emiliano Martinez, He said after the game Speaking to ifollow PNE "It wasn't my best shot, but it's a moment I will always remember". Just under a month later, He made his second first team appearance and first career league appearance, when he came off the bench against Leeds United playing 3 minutes, He was named on the bench for the next 3 games but found himself unable to come on.
