Therese Taabbel, (born 3rd October 1996) is a Danish professional kitesurfer and athlete. She is currently competing on the GKA Freestyle World Tour[1][2]. Therese is 4 time Danish Champion in Kitesurfing, and 2 time Danish Champion in Wakeboarding[3].
She sustained a serious knee injury during the final tour sop in Illha Do Gualiru in Brazil in December 2020 [4][5]. Therese is back to competing in 2022.
Therese is sponsored by Red Bull and CORE kiteboarding[6].
Biography[edit]
Therese was born in Aarhus, Denmark. She is currently living in Copenhagen. She began kitesurfing at the age of 10.[7]
