"They's a Person of the World" is a song by American garage rock band Black Lips featuring singer Kesha. The song was originally intended to be released on Record Store Day, which is April 18, 2020;[1] however, the release date was pushed back to June 20, 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was again pushed back to a later date of August 29, 2020.[2] However, the song is nowhere to be found on the website, but it can be found elsewhere online.
Background[edit]
The Record Store Day website calls the song "lush country ballad is a fitting tribute to the traditions of Nashville and it's rich musical history". The song was released on a 7" vinyl with another song by the Black Lips titled "Left Out In The Cold". The cover art was done by Jenn Warren.
